Desiderata is not your run of the mill narrowboat. The shell is by Jonathan Wilson, but tradition ends here. On entering the cabin through the forward doors, you will be amazed by the sight that meets your eye. There are virtually no straight lines anywhere to be seen.
The curvaceous, sweeping leather clad sofas lead to the exceptionally well equipped galley, with its Corian worktops, washing machine and dishwasher.
Being a GAS FREE boat, with ceramic induction hob. Cabin warmth is provided throughout with a combination of designer style, panel and fin radiators, along with a blown air heater all powered by a compact boiler, complimented by a diesel fired stove in the saloon.
When away from a landline, mains power is provided by no less than three sources: 3.5kW generator; 8kW cocooned diesel generator; and a 2.4kW inverter/charger.
There is far too much detail on board Desiderata to fully do justice to her on this brochure, so an early viewing is recommended.
