Built in 1982, this Trapper 501 is a straightforward, forgiving, no-nonsense sailing cruiser and is perfect for weekends away or extended costal cruising. She is also well-equipped to be skippered single handed and includes in-mast furling which offers infinite reefing points should the weather turn a little gustier! 1959 Cardinal Sloop Cruiser
Currently used as a liveaboard, but frequently sailed, this 1959 Cardinal Sloop cruiser defies her age and appears to be in good condition. With her deep keel and deep cockpit the owner states that she is not only a great sailing boat but also offers a sense of safety and security for the crew sitting in the cockpit. The boat is made of teak and whilst onboard I could not help but feel she is solid and has been well maintained. The companionway feels extra wide and extra deep making her an easy boat to head down below. Up on deck she feels solid under foot, the paintwork appears to be... read more
